New corporate identity
The Regionale is a border-crossing art event held in 16 different venues along the frontiers between Switzerland, Germany and France. The challenge for cc-design was to develop a communication tool that would enhance Regionale’s recall value. The first step involved reducing the title Regionale to the single letter “R”. However, lending the emblem a more individual and meaningful touch required a further step. Extending the leg of the letter “R” produces a pronounced line that addresses concepts such as “boundary”, “territory” or “region”, at the same time, the “R” appears to be transcending boundaries.
