Rekit

Creative Educational Tool Kit for Kids

Rekit is a safe and sustainable toolkit designed for children, enabling them to turn cardboard and plastic bottles into creative treasures. With four secure tools and clips, Rekit fosters crafting skills while addressing the issue of waste management. It encourages endless creativity and inclusivity, as all components can be 3D printed using open-source information. A dedicated online platform promotes template sharing, adding value to recycling efforts. Rekit’s tools prioritize child safety, allowing kids to craft confidently and sustainably. While having fun, children can practice creativity, planning steps, and teamwork.

JURY STATEMENT

The ReKit project is a well-conceived design for engaging kids in creative recycle of packaging materials. By sparking simple, yet fun, actions of transformation, it can intellectually stimulate children, while fostering awareness for sustainability issues.

WINNER STATEMENT

We are thrilled and honored to be awarded with the iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. Receiving this award serves as a powerful motivation to push the boundaries of our designs further, to continue exploring sustainable solutions, and to strive for social impact through our creations.
