The world is in dire need of repair at every corner, but we feel as though our toolbox is empty. The temporary exhibition titled 'Repair!' seeks to avoid arousing naive expectations. Nonetheless, it shows that much lies in our own hands. Rapid progress can be achieved, particularly in the areas of sustainability and recycling. Interactive exhibits make it clear to visitors that almost anything can be repaired, from old furniture to spaceships. Heaps of garbage and a globe made of electronic waste illustrate what our throw-away society is heading for if we don't rediscover the joy of repairing things.
