Exhibition

"Residual Value" (Restwert) is the driving motif of photographer Dietmar Eckell whose pictures thrive on the powerful tension between the peaceful beauty of nature and the morbid esthetics of decay. The supporting communication measures of this exhibition transform the theme visually and haptically into new media formats. The prospectus of the exhibition consists of individual miniature pictures which are embedded in a folded envelope made of printed extracts of recycled maps. On the outside an advertising column is presented as a changing object which increasingly releases a picture motif of Eckell. The films narrate the detection of the objects.
