Silicone cooking utensils

Revolutionary utensils were borne out of a need to better adapt utensils to the way consumers utilize them, while performing common kitchen tasks from mixing ingredients to scraping jars. Through research, Le Creuset identified inefficiencies in ordinary utensils and addressed the issues with six new designs – a jar scraper, three spatulas, a spoon and a basting brush – with multi-functional, integrated features. Noting that grip loss was prevalent, Le Creuset designed a handle with an elliptical and non-uniform shape to prevent slippage, three rings that provide better grip and control and a funnel-shaped end that creates a natural hand stop.
