Leading German supermarket chain REWE was looking to strengthen its mobile sales through a new app, with individual targeting, local and in-store information to encourage customers to buy. The app was also required to communicate brand values clearly. Developed by SapientNitro for iOS and Android, the new app is fully touch operated and delivers excellent usability. The interface and interaction with users are designed to provide the best possible in-store shopping experience, with all functions operable with just one hand. Users can also save current offers to their shopping list and locate their nearest REWE store.
