Influenced by architecture, using only natural materials with sustainability at the core, RG2046WD was crafted using modern machining and artisanal woodworking methods. The wood bar and temple tips were salvaged from old furniture timber and naturally finished without chemicals. The rims are made of recycled aluminum, its color anodized for environmental integrity. Adjustable nose pads are installed onto the rims without the use of adhesive or soldering. Each material is chosen purposefully, each process is optimized to minimize carbon footprint. The elements converge into a sculptural frame that weighs 13 grams in its original form.
