RINGO

Medical device

Konyang University

Ringo is a IV assistance device. IV-technology uses gravity force in order to inject fluid into a patient's body. Because of this, a ringer has to be hung up high in the air, occasionally causing blood regurgitation and other inconveniences. Patients have to transport an IV pole with them whereever they go. 'Ringo' uses a step motor and a fluid cartridge, meaning patients no longer need to be near a pole all the time. 'Ringo' will enable patients leave the IV rack behind when they go to the restroom, change their clothes or eat a meal. 'Ringo' is unique from other similar products since it can be used both in bed and while mobile. We hope 'Ringo' improves patients' daily life experience.
