Roca The Wave
Exhibition stand, 100% Design London
The international bathroom appliances company Roca desired to present its design affinity at the 100% Design exhibition in London 2010. This would not have been achieved by showing their existing high level design products conventionally, but by presenting their trade fair stand as a standalone piece of art. WHITEvoid designed a black monolithic trade fair stand as a stage for the specially developed kinetic light sculpture The Wave. The sculptural hanging light arrangement forms generative wave patterns complimented by blue light animations, symbolizing the main element of Roca: water.
