While most gaming laptops aren’t genre-specific, ROG Strix SCAR II and Hero II are designed to give gamers a competitive edge in FPS and MOBA esports. Their desktop-style keyboards have highlighted WASD (for SCAR II) or QWER (for Hero II) keys, and feature Overstroke technology for fast actuation and tactile keystrokes. These Strix laptops are the first in the world to feature super-narrow-bezel 144Hz IPS-level displays with a three millisecond gray-to-gray response time, allowing gamers to react instantly to what’s happening onscreen. Both designs reflect the FPS or MOBA genre, and feature the new front Aura light bar and semi-transparent keys with Aura Sync.
