Round Keyboard
Disability aid
The Round Keyboard is designed for people who were born without or lost a hand, allowing them to operate a normal computer. The keyboard consists of two parts: the rocker and the chassis. The user places their arm into the joystick, and slides this on the chassis to perform typing and other operations. The intuitive design allows the user to quickly grasp and master operation without training. This product gives those without hands the chance to easily and efficiently operate one of the most vital tools of the modern age.
The project responds to the important role computers play in social and business life and offers an auxiliary tool for people without hands, allowing them full access to and control of their computers. Most existing aids for this group of disabled people rely on voice commands and sensitive touchpads, but this product offers a more comprehensive and flexible solution.
