S410 is the ideal workhorse for mobile professionals in the fields of public safety, manufacturing and other field service professions. It is MIL-STD-810H- and IP53-certified to survive drops up to three feet, spills, moisture, vibrations, shock, and extreme temperatures, from -29°C to 63°C. Protected I/O ports and an island-style, splash-proof keyboard protect system components from dust and water, while the rubber corners and an ergonomic rubber handle provide superior protection. The optional second battery extends battery life and supports hot-swappable functions for simple and quick battery replacement in the field without powering the unit down.
