5.1 flat speaker system
The SA-FT7ED is a new style of speaker system designed to complement a flat panel TV. With its Super Audio CD playback function and slim speaker device, the system achieves a flat profile no more than 3 cm deep, with no compromise in sound quality. It can be arranged in a number of ways to fit any décor, including on a glass stand or mounted on a wall. The designer pursued a simple design that would blend naturally with interior décor. The taller speaker unit stands are crafted of glass, which minimizes its substantiality while evoking a sense of quality and transparency. The angle of the stands frame was adjusted to achieve the impression that the 6-mm thick glass is 3 cm thick. The frame piece reinforces the glass and serves to conceal the speaker cord. The smaller stands have a mirrored finish, which reflects the base of the stand in a beautiful oval shape. The hexagonal subwoofer not only allows the system to be placed flush against the wall, but also improves sound quality.
