The SafeCash R is a new ATM which offers among withdrawals also a cash deposit function. The built-in cash recycling module checks the deposited banknotes for authenticity and quality, sorts them and provides them for withdrawal again. The usual transport of the banknotes to the central bank, the proving, sorting and the return transport is unnecessary. The closed cash cycle reduces cash handling costs up to 75%. Along with other terminals, the SafeCash R will be the basis of Gunnebo's new ATM product line. The basic concept is a slightly undulated surface huddling against the wall. Thus, the terminals' faces appear formally reduced and unobtrusive, but also independent in appearance. Being made of extruded aluminium profiles, the face panels provide low manufacturing costs as well as easy expandability.
