The Safety Inspection Robot performs maintenance tasks at Hyundai Motor’s Smart Factory in Singapore. With 3 cameras, the robot detects and notifies users about issues concerning pressure valves and gauges, switch boards, and foreign objects on the floor. The cover is shaped tightly in order to avoid creating blind spots for senors, thus enabling avoid obstacles such as the many AGVs and AMRs which deliver automotive parts. The exterior, which emphasizes the technological capabilities of the robot, as well as its CMF which is appropriate for a manufacturing environment, fits in seamlessly as part of the Smart Factory.
