In 2020, when we started making this product, many people in Japan were grounded due to COVID-19, and there were fewer opportunities to experience "actually seeing and touching" things. This project was started with the idea of providing children, who have fewer opportunities to go outside, with the experience of seeing, touching, and enjoying natural objects while staying inside their homes. Our goal is to help children learn about fish and nature while playing by realistically printing fish skins using our strengths in special printing technologies such as metallic printing and Dry-toner Thick-layer Laser Printing.
