SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd.

The “Longest Wave” contest took place for eight weeks on Facebook to promote the new Samsung “Wave Phone”. The Samsung Wave application was accessible to all Facebook members, who could participate by either starting their own wave and inviting their friends or by joining an existing one. The application was easy to use, meaning that fun was only a mouse click away! In the end the “Samsung WWWave” reached up to 277,242 m in length. An average of five thousand users per day participated and over fifteen thousand feeds were published to members’ walls during the whole period.
