SANGO

Integrated accommodation facility

Sango Construction Co., Ltd.

SANGO is a stay-type complex designed under the concept of “A Mountain Where the Lives of Hokkaido Gather.” Located between Sapporo and Otaru at the foot of Mount Haruka, it includes five villas, a commercial building, local shops, and an art gallery. Planned, designed, built, and operated by a local construction company, SANGO connects people, forest, and local industry through a sustainable circulation system. Built with Hokkaido larch, Donan cedar, and Sapporo soft stone, the architecture uses local materials and blends quietly with the landscape. Guests experience “living in Hokkaido” through moments close to local life and nature.
