School building renovation

Located in Hsinchu city, Taiwan, this project is a renovation of an elementary school campus, including two parts which consist of the reconstruction of a classroom building and a new kindergarten. It is a long-term project involving nearby communities, which cannot be completed overnight. The renovation takes a step-by-step approach. The strategy was to begin with the most urgently needed buildings: first, the reconstruction of the Fuxing building and then the construction of a new kindergarten at the corner of the campus. The design aims to address environmental quality and keep the style consistent.
