SCALANCE XP-200 managed switches set themselves apart as a result of the rugged, low-profile metal housing utilizing an M12 connection for a high degree of protection (IP67). By having two planes, the front of the device is functionally split into the display area and the recessed interface area. The arrangement of the LEDs references the individual ports. As a consequence, when fully equipped, device status information can be immediately identified. The rugged design allows for indoor and outdoor use for system concepts without control cabinets – guaranteeing reliable network operation in all sectors.
