Schauwerk Sindelfingen - Wayfinding System

Wayfinding System

Since its opening in June 2010, the Schauwerk in Sindelfingen has become a recognised destination for contemporary art. Collected by the Schaufler family, the collection includes more than 3,500 artworks from the past five decades, displayed over an area of around 6,000 m². Several new extensions, including a large art warehouse, made a new guidance system for Schauwerk visitors essential. With the theme of "moving surfaces", we designed a visually stringent guidance system that integrates perfectly with the architecture and function of the buildings. The colour design and form of the signage perfectly reflect the spatial atmosphere.
