Book

The book Black.Forest.White. presents a series of black-and-white photographs by visual artist Joseph Carlson, flawlessly framed by the publication’s exquisite print design. The book is a companion piece to Black.Forest.Land., published 2017. Set against the backdrop of a rolling mountainous landscape, both books attempt to plumb the depths of an achromatic colour: first black, now white. The unique visual lens of Black.Forest.White. sets it apart from other artistic landscape photography publications, while its design concept consistently emphasises the book’s underlying message.
