Respect for the dead is by no means at odds with friendly service. The book conveys the high standard of service offered by SCI and reflects on the subjects of mortality and funerals without being too somber. Instead, it presents the funeral company as a key source of support in difficult times. The design is understated and allows the subject matter to speak for itself.
