This mining helmet features two self-help systems. The first is the automatic impact alarm positioning system. If the mine collapses, miners can use the emergency alarm positioning system. If a miner is knocked unconscious, the helmet's sensor system will automatically continue to report the location with positioning signals. The second feature is a filtering system. When harmful gas leaks into the mine, miners often get trapped whilst trying to escape. The second system has a layer for filtering out poisonous gasses, allowing the miners to survive until rescued.
