Timely vaccination has an inestimable role in disease prevention. Yet, in many parts of Africa there is a lack of professional assistance in the vaccination process. This is a simple, disposable self-administered syringe designed for use in Africa. Its operation is simple and convenient and supports autonomous injection. It has the potential to greatly improve vaccine coverage and medical conditions in remote parts of Africa.
This is a low-cost design that can be used by non-medically trained individuals and makes a significant contribution to public health in regions such as Africa where resources are limited. This design is feasible and easily implemented. In terms of use-value, usability, and social responsibility, this product meets several of the Sustainable Development Goals.
