Heart monitoring system

SENS - a personal heart monitoring system - is inspired by the traditional stethoscope and uses a computer-based algorithm to detect approaching heart problems at an early stage. The design is conceived for long-term usage in home environments to reduce the increasing workload in medical facilities. SENS is a reliable, individual monitoring device that can effortlessly be integrated into the user´s daily life. Visual, audio and haptic signals enhance product interaction and simplify user guidance to locate ideal monitoring spots. The concept establishes a direct connection between home and hospital for data transfer and medical supervision.

JURY STATEMENT

"The traditional stethoscope is the godfather to this innovation. A monitoring device that appeals to both visual and haptic senses to facilitate a convincing vision of an easy, interactive monitoring system."

WINNER STATEMENT

It totally blew our SENSes!
