Sensodyne Nourish Toothbrush
Toothbrush
GlaxoSmithKline
The Sensodyne Nourish toothbrush is a bio-plastic, sustainable initiative, designed primarily for a younger audience. It has been created for effective cleaning of sensitive teeth and to reduce environmental impact. The single material, bio-plastic handle has origins in tall oil, a by-product of papermaking. No petroleum is used in the manufacturing process. The lightweight design ensures that less material is used compared to conventional toothbrushes and a large proportion of energy required in the production is generated from solar cells. The filaments are made from recycled PET bottles. The primary packaging is recycled and recyclable.
