As a further refinement of the D500 model, the D600 yields smarter, cooler images of an orchestra conductor wearing a tailcoat. The built-in design power of the D600 directs a number of functions just as a conductor directs the players in an orchestra. A sliding mechanism was realized through an interminable trial-and-error process to produce smoothness and exercise moderation, and a variety of engineering technologies were applied to reduce the weight (by applying engineering plastics, for instance). Black in combination with metallic gray represents an excellent tone, yielding images that are homogeneous with the design. Cutting-edge functions were integrated into the model, including a 2.0-inch LCD screen, 2-megapixel camera, and dual stereo speaker.
