Shellmine Kids is an eco-friendly tableware set for infants and toddlers made of eggshell plastic. Biomass resin, an ideal material with reduced environmental impact, is currently not widely used due to high raw material costs. Particularly in resin tableware market, conventional resin products tend to be chosen because they are cheaper than other materials, it’s extremely difficult for tableware made of biomass resin to fare in price competition. For the future of the global environment, we thought it would be effective to make the raw materials visible through design and to first make users aware of the existence and value of biomass resin.
