Wayfinding system

Bao'an District Government

The wayfinding signage system was designed for a wooded, hilly municipal park in Shenzhen. The park is close to a reservoir, some older upscale residential neighborhoods, and school districts. The design needed to blend in with the park's ecological environment for its neighboring visitors, who are familiar with the park's layout. The designers opted for low-contrast colored silhouettes to integrate the signage system into the natural environment in a gentle, understated way but still provide clear wayfinding for visitors less familiar with the park.
