Conventional fire extinguishers have a number of weak points when firefighters start putting out a fire. First, it is sometimes difficult to aim the fire extinguisher directly at the source of the fire and second, the user is not sufficiently protected from the fire when using just the extinguisher. This new type of fire extinguisher is equipped with a shield for extra protection, to better direct the flow of the fire extinguishing agent and to prevent such other accidents as explosion and burns and put out the fire at the same time.

"An interesting concept that addresses the fear and danger of tackling fires in the home or office. Fire extinguishers are seldon integrated into the fabric of a building and this concept starts to make us think of how this every-day object could become both more functional and better fitting the aesthetics of modern buildings."
