Shine

Bedtime storybook

Shadows can tell a story, yet they are also scary, especially for children. What if the narrative ability of shadows could be combined with a child’s vivid imagination to tell a bedtime story? "Shine" is a children’s storybook that unfolds in the dark with a flashlight. When light is shone through or on the pages, shadows come alive to tell a heart-warming story. The story's theme revolves around parental love. Shadows have the powerful ability to convey messages that are difficult to say in words. "Shine" gives young readers a chance to see shadows in a different light and go to sleep knowing how much their parents love them and hope for them to shine.
