SHINOKACHIMACHI RESIDENCE (nido SHIN-OKACHIMACHI)

Residence

The building’s form emerges from balancing efficiency with sensitivity to its setting. Balconies were designed as openings, their proportions and subdued colors softening the façade. Because neighboring buildings are lower, this rhythm extends across side elevations, so the structure is perceived in continuity with the streetscape. Recessed balconies and communal corridors use a wood-grain brush finish to give concrete warmth and texture. The landscaped approach and transparent entrance lounge add depth, becoming a welcoming place open to both residents and the local community.
