In order to present itself as an international corporation with a uniform typeface across the globe, Siemens joined forces with the typeface developer (URW)++ to expand its proprietary typeface family Siemens to include all the worlds major lettering systems. MetaDesign created Our typefaces, a compendium of two CD-ROMs and a booklet giving a comprehensive description and visual portrayal of the new typefaces. With top-notch production quality and a precise, understated look true to the Siemens corporate design, the compendium confidently prepares the way for the globalization of the Siemens typeface.
