Eco Tea Slippers are sustainable footwear and a storytelling medium that seamlessly integrates Taiwan’s century-old tea culture with modern circular economy principles. They address two pressing challenges—environmental sustainability and cultural heritage preservation. According to official statistics, Taiwan generates approximately 300,000 tons of tea waste annually. By recycling this vast amount of discarded tea leaves and giving them new life, the slippers reduce the environmental burden of waste. At the same time, they embody Taiwan’s tea culture in the most familiar, everyday form—a household slipper. By merging cultural significance
