Wearable biological sensor

Toshiba Corporation Digital Products & Services Company

Silmee_Bar is a compact, waterproof sensor that can be attached to the chest to continuously measure biological data of ECG, pulse, motion and skin temperature. Information processed from the collected data, such as heart-rate and posture, are transmitted by Bluetooth and visualized on a smart phone or tablet. Sensor-based health management to date requires many devices and examinations. This enables easy monitoring of biological information using a single sensor. The “Pseudo-SOC technology” enables a quarter of the size of existing biological sensor modules and the slim, soft design offers the user a peace of mind and no awkwardness when worn.
