Faucet

Joaquim Portela Arquitetos

Proposed faucet for the Museum of the Portuguese Language. The museum will be housed in a former grain silo. The feel of the building is dominated by its elegant cylindrical shape, which served as inspiration for the faucet’s design. This faucet is intended for public and private use and features a motion sensor so that there is no need for users to touch it. This feature is particularly important given the need to limit the spread of germs. Touchless faucets also can also help save water and contribute to sustainability.
