Distributed servo drive

With the SINAMICS S120M, Siemens is expanding its portfolio to include a distributed servo drive, available in three shaft heights. Less space and climate control are required in the cabinet as the power unit is shifted into the motor. The drive is installed in a distributed topology and up to twelve drives can be operated on one adapter in power stages that address the actual requirements. The devices have been optimized for use in modular machine concepts, machines with a large footprint or in electrical cabinets with limited space. SINAMICS S120M is a compact unit that is ready to be connected.
