Hair Salon

Basing on the Japanese idea of Shakkei (borrowed scenery), SISU’s design was aimed to take advantage of the old building’s existing frame, windows, which had the potential to let in natural light to let users feel a sense of openness, despite the limited area size. The original armchair was designed to become an iconic feature of the space. It is also the starting point of other design features such as the correlating mirrors and the location of other areas such as the shampoo area or the white tile-covered rectangular solid that functions more than a consultation space.
