Elderly people often suffer from accidents due to the reduction of their muscle strength, sense of balance, and body flexibility. The SiTand Walker is designed to assist their daily movement and for the actions like getting up and sitting down so a harmful fall will never happen again. The SiTand Walker combines the function of a walker and an assistive Chair. The assistant mechanism provides extra support for the user to get up from a seating position so it helps decrease the pressure in the hips and knees joints. The SiTand Walker also helps the elderly and disable user to move around more quickly in a safe way.
