The Skil belt sander is an innovative tool: it is equipped with two dust filters and an integrated translucent dust box that is easy to empty. The belt cleaner is a new feature that improves sandpaper lifespan. The added sanding frame makes it easy to equalize large surfaces. For stationary use, the tool can be fit upside down into a workbench, without any additional parts. All these features have been integrated in a smooth, clean and compact design. Both handles are comfortable to hold due to their shape and soft grip. The belt sander is an example of the product design language developed by Skil and Brandes en Meurs industrial design.
