Packaging and carrying system
The SleepBox – a specially designed packaging for the Jing Si Foldable Bed – is a perfect example of reusability. Made from 100% recycled carton packaging, its design prevents further wastage by transforming it to a mattress for the bed unit and locks in place using hole-buttons. Together with its Wheels attachments, made from excess paper tubes from paper factories, the 13.5 kg boxed bed unit becomes easy and convenient to transport not just for the elderly, mothers with babies, women and children survivors that receive these units, but also for the regular consumers that purchase the bed. Both SleepBox & Wheels can be recycled again.
