The Slight Rocker is a rocking, stacking stool that was created as part of a study into breaking down barriers in social interaction through shared physical experiences. The round bottom ring allows for a controlled rocking motion while it also preventing the stool from tipping over. The rocking motion puts people at ease and provides a means to release excess energy or nervousness. As conversations with teachers and nannies revealed, the rocking motion is ideal for children in classrooms and at home. Children like to move and fidget, and a small motion like rocking is enough to keep them calm and attentive during a class or a meal.
