Smappee EV Base
EV charging station
Smappee EV Base is the smartest EV charging station. It gets electric cars fully charged while dynamically balancing the other energy flows on site. This resolves three major pain points linked to EV charging. Firstly, EV Base prevents the fuses from blowing due to the large peak in energy demand that an electric charge causes. Secondly, EV Base provides insight into the charging process and its costs via the Smappee App and Dashboard (currently EV owners have no way of obtaining this insight). Finally, it allows users to maximally use solar energy or only charge at times when energy is cheap (off-peak).
