Smart Device and Mobile App

Smart Cane is an innovative app-based navigator that brings social value by supporting blind people to move anywhere safely, conveniently, and independently. Lidar sensor supports recognizing the obstacles, which are placing outside from the white cane boundary. It learns the user's emergency situation and guides to safely pass through the dangerous area. In addition, energy harvesting technology is applied to solve the inconvenience of charging and energy efficiency. Also, The user also can attach any size of white canes to this Smart Cane. All of design factors of Smart Cane are reflected from the result of Living Lab study with blind.
