The smart escooter has an independent, unconventional design. The shape is modeled on the tridion safety cell of the smart fortwo. Its steel and aluminum frame houses the battery and power electronics and also offers additional storage space for example for helmets. It is clad with fully interchangeable plastic body panels. With the disc-shaped wheel hub motor in the rear wheel and the 48 V lithium-ion battery pack ranges of up to 100 km are possible. Equipment: ABS, airbag, Blind Spot Assist, additional solar cells, fold-out seat. Linked via smart phone: scooter’s control and communication centre.
