The Tuya smart socket is designed to make conventional air conditioners smart. The user can remotely control the air conditioner before arriving home using the Tuya app. An infrared learning feature and voice control are also supported. Tuya is also an energy-saving device as it can detect the current power usage of an air conditioner, and calculate its power consumption by day, week or month. Energy consumption can be automatically reduced using sensor linkage control, adjusting the temperature based on the data produce by the inbuilt temperature and humidity sensor.
