Mobile phone packaging

Smartisan M1 Packaging is inspired by a curio box, a traditional Chinese object, popular among scholars since the Ming dynasty and used for collecting, organizing and displaying curios. The packaging is about the joy of organizing and discovery that stems from childhood. The large square box is divided into three neatly arranged smaller compartments, while the discreetly designed icons on top indicate what is within: the mobile phone, cable and charger. The entire box is made of high-grade paper with a silken texture, while the variegated shades of black evoke a simple yet rich experience, both visual and tactile.
