This beer's name Lovibond 55 is inspired by Joseph Williams Lovibond, the inventor of the tintometer and a great inspiration to this product's owner. The number 55 stands for the color the beer reaches during brewing. The bottleneck is another tribute to Mr. Lovibond, featuring sixteen curved surfaces representing a sixteen-scale metal wheel and the inspiration behind Lovibond's color meter. The large 55 number frames background illustrations of how to make beer, from wheat harvesting to brewing. An image of Lovibond appears in the foreground to underscore the brand's expertise and special niche.
