Snug
Ergonomic tableware
Arthritis sufferers do not lack strength compared to healthy people. Rather, they are often limited by pain when interacting with objects. Snug is a tableware concept that applies the findings of both ergonomics and occupational therapy, meeting the needs of arthritis patients for a minimalist form. The design reduces necessary motions to a minimum while strain is evenly shared between involved joints. The modern stoneware materials are left partly unglazed in those areas that offer the best grip.
This is a very well-designed further development of ergonomic tableware, as well as a clever use of materials and texture to improve handling.
WINNER STATEMENTI feel very honored to receive the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD, marking this my first design award ever. Such professional feedback has great value for me. Thank you so much!
